Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, the season-finale will see four teams clash as Ghantoot attempts to defend the HH President of the UAE Polo Cup crown. Presented by ADCB and lead sponsored by Al Basti Equiworld and Tom Ford, the week-long tournament will showcase the skills of high-goal Argentine players including Hugo Barabucci, Gonzalo Azumendi and David Bernal. Accomplished Emirati players will also take to the field in what promises to be the fastest-paced polo action of the season.
“This is a highly-prestigious tournament, held in the name of our President and it is the most important event we host at Ghantoot,” said HE Saeed Bin Houfan Al Mansouri, Vice Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club. “We are very proud to promote the sport of polo through such a high-calibre forum and we believe that our continued support will see this event develop into one of Abu Dhabi’s showpiece equestrian occasions.
“We would like to extend our thanks to our valued partners, ADCB, who have fulfilled a very important role as season sponsors here at Ghantoot. Our thanks also goes to long-time supporter Al Basti and we welcome our newer association with Tom Ford.”
