Ibrahim Al Haram is the envy of all the new friends he has made while learning new footballing skills at Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) in Abu Dhabi.
The 11-year-old Emirati has fabulous memories from Old Trafford after a flying visit to the UK to join in the celebrations as 19-times English league title winners United were officially crowned Premiership champions.
Ibrahim and his father, Faisal Al Haram, were flown to the UK courtesy of MUSS for United’s final game of the 2010-11 season against Blackpool, after which the team received the Premiership trophy.
It was their reward for winning a prize draw from all those enrolling for the current ten-week programme under way at the Dome@Rawdhat.
When his father took him to the venue for the latest MUSS session, Ibrahim was able to show off photographs of their visit to Old Trafford, where they met up with former Manchester United stars Denis Irwin and Andy Ritchie.
“It was a fantastic experience,” said Mr Al Haram. “We had a wonderful time and Ibrahim will never forget it. I have to thank Manchester United Soccer Schools for this great initiative.”
Concluding on 23 June, the current ten-week MUSS programme will be followed by a summer course taking place in the one-of-a-kind indoor air conditioned football facility at the Dome@Rawdhat.
The four one-week intensive courses will start on 3 July and run from Sunday to Wednesday, with each day themed around a different technical area of the game.
