Preparations for the finals of “Red Bull Car Park Drift” are complete and Beirut is ready to host the thrilling competition on Friday night held under the auspices of Faysal Karami, the Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports and in collaboration with the ATCL.
An incredible showdown of skills and manoeuvres is expected to be on show by local champions from ten countries around the Middle East, who will compete for a chance to be crowned “King of Drift”.
The champion will also have to win the appreciation of the huge crowd flocking from all around the region to the Lebanese capital for a chance to witness this unique motorsport event Fourteen skilled drivers representing Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iran and Lebanon will compete for the regional title of Red Bull Car Park Drift which is sponsored by Chevrolet. The United Arab Emirates will be represented by the outstanding driver and business man Ahmed Al Amiri who, in his Toyota Lexus, hopes to steal the regional title after showing incredible drifting skills and maneuvers in the Abu Dhabi qualifications.
A judging panel of five members from the sizzling Lebanese social scene and the exciting world of motorsports will decide on the results based on several criteria.
