Porsche proves exciting road travel does not necessarily require four wheels
Proof that exclusive, exciting road travel does not necessarily require four wheels, the new Porsche Bike RS has arrived in the UAE, providing residents with ample opportunity to explore the Emirates’ lesser known roads as temperatures across the country steadily decline.
The launch of the bike comes as adventurers plan trips into the Khor Kalba Nature Reserve just south of Fujairah, or to cruise the hills of Hatta amid the stunning backdrop of the Hajar Mountains.
For those looking to shed summer weight, the 11.7 kilometre climb up the Jebel Hafeet Road in Al Ain is the ultimate fitness challenge, before taking in the breath-taking views of the UAE’s Garden City, all while being powered by the Porsche Bike RS’s Shimano XTR 20 speed gears, and lightweight carbon frame.
Exclusively available from Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles, the Porsche Bike RS comes with Magura hydraulic disc brakes and Crankbrothers 29-inch wheels.
A distinct highlight of the 2012 Porsche Driver’s Selection, the bike, along with an entire selection of lifestyle accessories, fashion items, innovative luggage and model cars, is available at Porsche Centre Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 3213911), Porsche Service Centre Al Quoz (04 371 6700), and the Porsche Approved Showroom, Al Quoz (04 3105300).
