Under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, Nike Middle East through its distributor Sun and Sand Sports announced that We Run Dubai will take place on December 19th at 7:30 am in Downtown Dubai. We Run Dubai is a 10k long race which comes as part of the global Nike We Run Series hosted by 14 cities across Europe, Latin America, and Asia and ranging in distances from 7K to a full marathon.

Through its products, services and communities, Nike aims to motivate runners and help push them to their limits. In the lead up to race day, runners of all levels can receive personalized training journeys by joining Nike+, the world’s largest running community, bringing together more than 20 million members from across the world. Nike+ also helps runners set goals, track performance and get the inspiration they need to become better athletes. In addition, The Nike Running Middle East Facebook page and Twitter account are the local community hubs for runners looking to train. Both offer tips and advice from athletes and coaches, as well as expert advice on which Nike Running apparel and footwear to train in.
Bringing the online running community to life, Nike holds ongoing Nike+ Run Clubs (N+RC) across Dubai to encourage runners to find inspiration and motivation from others. N+RC are being held thrice a week as follows:

• Sundays at 7pm at Palm Jumeirah Track (Google Maps coordinates: 25.109261, 55.144830)
• Tuesday at 7pm at DIFC at the Gate Building (Google Maps coordinates: 25.214409, 55.282838)
Runners can also incorporate training into their fitness program with the Nike+ Training Club App (N+TC). Through the N+TC App, members can choose four-week programs or one-off workouts in order to chase their goals of getting lean, toned or strong.
