Romain Lutter of Lucco racing team finishes second during the 5th Radical Middle East Championship Cup with a recorded time of 46:12.348 in the first round followed by 46:00.573 in the last. The excitement shoots up as the second to the final race took place over the weekend at Yas Marina Circuit.
Zooming his way up, European radical series driver Tony Wells grabbed the pole position earning himself a double win. For Russian driver Sergey Shalunov, it turned out to be a nice battle with French driver Lutter following an eventful one on the second round.
“It was an incredible race,” Romain Lutter stated after the event. “As we head to the last two series of the championship, the thrill and pressure builds up. But I would say that this is by far one of the best yet that we’ve done. Big thanks to our guys Prajith Gee and Craig Thompson for an awesome job of taking good care of the car. It really is important to have a car that is in good condition as it helps in your performance as you maneuver your way into the circuit. That’s why we’re so glad to have a team who is good as them’ he added.
Yas Marina Circuit will host yet again another full throttle racing event - the final round of Radical Middle East Championship Cup series. The last race will take place on the 9th and 11th April in Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi.
